With the HEATKILLER®V for AMD Radeon RX6800/6900XT we are continuing the current HEATKILLER V generation with extensive optimizations. The full-cover water block draws on over 20 years of know-how in the development and production of high-performance water coolers. Equipped with unique highlights, the latest version of the HEATKILLER® V presents what is technically feasible. Significant improvements over the predecessor: Dual layer inflow Refined, vertical cooling structure Increased flow Symmetrical cooling design Screwless cover HEATKILLER High-Luminous aRGB as standard Insulating spacers made of high-performance plastic (Peek) CNC cut thermal pads Kryonaut thermal paste By increasing the number and specially arranged cooling fins, we were able to massively increase the cooling performance directly above the graphics processor and thus improve the most important area. The cooler base, milled from a solid copper block, establishes contact with all relevant components. The pioneering dual-layer inflow distributes the water simultaneously on two levels. This ensures an inflow that is at least 30 percent higher than with our previous generation. The wide and symmetrical flow paths reduce dead spots (standing water) to a minimum and accelerate the flow. The overall result increases not only the maximum cooling performance but also the flow rate of the HEATKILLER® V. Thanks to newly designed spacers made of high-performance plastic (PEEK), the solid copper block is insulated from the circuit board as best as possible. In addition to the technical innovations, the design of the cooler is also impressive. The screwless cover makes the entire block look like it was made from a single piece. The symmetrical channels further underline the look of the cooler and make it a unique element in every mod. The integrated high-luminous aRGB LED strips are now also standard in combination with the nickel-acrylic variants. This means that the HEATKILLER® V can be perfectly integrated into the computer's lighting concept. For the best possible look, the optionally available backplate is highly recommended. The unique manufacturing process conceals all electronic components without sacrificing illumination. The block in combination with the backplate makes the HEATKILLER®V for the current AMD graphics card generation look like a single unit and presents the legendary cooler in a completely new light. The legendary Kryonaut thermal paste from Thermal Grizzly ensures the best possible contact with the processor. The thermal pads, pre-cut by a CNC machine, ensure exceptional cooling of the voltage converters. This also makes installation easy, as the pads can be removed without leaving any residue. The D-Plug from Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS series with 2 G1/4" male threads offers the possibility to connect components like GPU and CPU coolers or radiators within a water circuit. What's New?Compared to double nipples or similar adapters, the ES D-Plug is plugged and not screwed. The necessary stability is provided by two closely fitting O-rings on the Male component of the connector. Of course, the connector has been extensively tested in the Alphacool lab with the result that the D-Plug is stable up to 1.5 Bar. UsesAlphacool's ES D-Plug allows for easy connection of water cooling components such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators to each other. Since the connector is only plugged in and not screwed, easy installation or quick replacement are uncomplicated. The ES D-Plug has a variable length. By pulling the connector apart, an extension of up to 15 mm can be achieved. This flexibility allows compensation for inaccuracies in the system design and prevents hoses from twisting during assembly. With the use of the D-Plug, the connection of water cooling elements is possible even in the tightest spaces.The right size for every applicationThe ES D-Plug is available in lengths of 20 mm, 25.5 mm and 31.5 mm.
