Diese DC-Pumpe ist eine elektronisch kommutierte Kugelmotorpumpe, mit Laufzeiten von deutlich über 50.000 Stunden bei 12 Volt. Das einzig bewegliche Teil an einer Kugelmotorpumpe ist eine sphärisch geformte Rotor-/Laufradeinheit, die sich auf einer ultraharten, verschleißfesten Keramik-Lagerkugel abstützt. Eine konventionelle Welle mit Wellenlagern und Wellendichtungen ist nicht vorhanden.
