The Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora AIO CPU water cooler is a latest development of the popular and well-known Eisbaer cooler. Alphacool has improved many features but the ability to expand the cooler via the quick release fasteners and the famous high-quality copper radiators have been retained. The large capacity reservoir and the ability to refill the cooler has also been kept the same.The Heart of the AiOThe pump, CPU cooler and reservoir combo is the heart of the Eisbaer Aurora. The cooler base is made of high-quality copper and has a fine slotted structure. The surface area has been further expanded compared to the previous model to completely cover the larger DIE areas of AMD and Intel processors. The DC-LT pump has also been redesigned and is now almost 10% more powerful at a reduced noise level. The reservoir is many times larger compared to standard AIO systems ensuring a longer service life. In addition, the unit also has a fill port which can be used to refill if necessary. This is especially important if you want to extend the loop via the quick release fasteners.Custom Cooling Components!A great advantage of the Eisbaer Aurora series is the expandability via the aptly named ‘Eisbaer-Ready’ quick release fasteners. These have also been redesigned and are now smoother and more unobtrusive than those of the previous model. Nevertheless, these quick-release fasteners are 100% compatible with all Eisbaer Ready products such as prefilled radiators, the Eiswolf AIO water cooler for graphics cards and the well-known Alphacool HF quick-release fasteners, which are available separately for normal DIY water cooling systems. The fittings are from the Enterprise Solution series from Alphacool. They have a standard G1/4" thread and can be exchanged for any other fittings if you wish. The TPV hose is extremely resistant and is also used in the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations. Using custom cooling parts for an AiO means you get many more options than usual.Copper RadiatorAs usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer worldwide to use copper for all water-carrying components such as the end chambers, the cooling fins and the cooling channels to which the fins are soldered. Only the thread inserts are made of brass as copper is too soft for this application. The cooling fins are also only lightly painted. If you look closely, the copper even shimmers through. The reason for this is to ensure that the paint does not affect the cooling capacity, which would be reduced by too thick a coating. The fin density is at an optimal 15FPI, allowing the radiator to work perfectly at low airflow. A too high density would require faster, louder fans. Alphacool has chosen the golden number here as you can keep fans running slower and quieter whilst still getting fantastic performance.Fans and LightingThe entire Eisbaer Aurora cooler has been equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. The pump housing has an Eisbaer pattern all around which is fully illuminated. This gives a unique look when installed into a case. The Alphacool Aurora LUX Pro fans are also fully illuminated with 5V aRGB LEDs. The fan frame has a unique pattern with many small cut-outs that create a particularly elegant effect. You do not see individual LEDs and the lighting is much more interesting than a simple LED ring. Of course, all Digital RGB LEDs can be controlled as you like, such as via the motherboard or with a third-party controller. Depending on the controller almost all effects are possible.How to Connect EverythingThe fans are controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. To reduce the number of headers needed on the motherboard, Y-cable is included so that 2 or 3 fans can be ran from a single header. The RGB lighting is connected via a 3-pin JST connector. Each cable also has an integrated Y-adapter, so that the fans can be daisy chained very easily. A 3-pin 5V adapter is included in the package. This allows you to connect and control the fans to any mainboard with the appropriate connector. Alternatively, the included Digital RGB Controller can be used. The pump of the Eisbaer Aurora uses a 3-pin Molex connector. In addition, the cooler unit features a fill port, allowing liquid to be added if necessary—especially useful when expanding the loop via quick connectors. DIY components wherever you look A major advantage of the Eisbaer Aurora series is its expandability through so-called Eisbaer-Ready quick connectors. These have also been redesigned to appear smoother and more discreet than those on the previous model. Despite the new design, they remain 100% compatible with all Eisbaer Ready products, such as pre-filled radiators, the Eiswolf AIO GPU water cooler, and the well-known Alphacool HF quick connectors available separately for standard DIY loops. The fittings come from Alphacool’s Enterprise Solution series and use a standard G1/4" thread, allowing them to be swapped for any other compatible fitting. The TPV tubing is extremely durable and also used in the Enterprise Solution range for servers and workstations. Copper radiator As is typical for Alphacool, the radiators are made entirely of copper. Alphacool was the first manufacturer worldwide to consistently use copper in all water-carrying components—such as end chambers, cooling fins, and the soldered cooling channels. Only the connection threads are made of brass for technical hardening reasons. The cooling fins are only lightly coated, allowing the copper to subtly shine through when viewed closely. This is to avoid a thick layer of paint that could reduce cooling performance. The fin density is an optimal 15 FPI, allowing the radiator to work perfectly even with low airflow. A higher density would require faster fans, while a lower density wouldn’t benefit from higher fan speeds. Alphacool has found the perfect balance here. Fans and lighting The entire Eisbaer Aurora cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. The pump housing features a fully illuminated Eisbaer pattern all around, making it a true eye-catcher inside your case. The Alphacool Rise Aurora 120 mm fans are also fully lit with 5V aRGB LEDs. The fan frame has a unique pattern with many small cut-outs, creating a particularly elegant lighting effect. The Eisbaer Aurora HPE Edition 360 CPU AIO water cooling features the extremely powerful NexXxos HPE Performance all-copper radiator equipped with the high-throughput Aurora Rise 120mm fans. All of the components used come from the classic DIY water cooling range and are also used for the most part in the enterprise products for servers. The Eisbaer LT Aurora can be expanded with additional components thanks to the quick-release fastener. Alphacool's Eisbaer Aurora HPE Edition 360 CPU AIO is a high performance all-in-one water cooling system that is as easy to install as an AIO, but offers the performance of a pre-assembled and pre-filled custom loop.New HPE Radiator!The NexXxos ST30 HPE Radiator uses the same materials as previous NexXxos models, but takes it a step further technically. Due to the condensed internal structure, the number of water channels and copper fins could be increased. Thus, a larger volume of water is in direct contact with the cooling fins and the heat transfer is enormously improved. The higher number of fin rows and their shortening also makes much more efficient use of the cooling surface. Comparison tests with the conventional NexXxos radiator have shown that a performance increase of 4.5K is possible when using the HPE radiator. At higher ambient temperatures and higher fan speeds, the performance gap with the normal NexXxoS radiators even increases progressively, reaching a possible performance increase of up to 6K. It provides enough power to add another component such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator to the circuit.FanThe Alphacool Rise Aurora fan offers a wide control range as well as superior Digital aRGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the fan's special design create unique effects. The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. Additionally, it offers a Zero control, which allows the fan to be regulated down to 0 RPM and then starts at approximately 350 RPM. The Eisbaer LT 92 has been launched especially for small form factor cases. The space SFF cases is extremely limited, therefore the Eisbaer LT 92 differs in several points from the normal Eisbaer LT.Perfect for SFF casesThe cooling block and pump unit is only 40 mm high; this means it is smaller than the IO panel on the mainboard. This ensures that the Eisbaer LT 92 fits into almost every compact case on the market. The hose length is only 25 cm which means it is optimal for small cases in which the laying of long hoses can become a torture. This is one of the reasons why Alphacool does not use the usual quick release fasteners in the Eisbaer LT 92. Due to the compact dimensions of SFF cases, quick release fasteners can often be too cumbersome. Uncompromising with the materialsAs is usual with Alphacool, the radiator is made of copper and comes from the well-known NexXxoS series. The antechambers, cooling fins and the water channels are made entirely of copper. The heat capacity of copper is almost twice as high as that of aluminium, which is particularly noticeable when the radiator is driven to its performance limit. When a comparable aluminium radiator fails, the copper radiator really gets going. The cold plate of the Eisbaer LT 92 is also made of nickel-plated copper. The TPV hoses and TPV connections with G1/4" thread come from the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations.PumpThe DC-LT 2 pump is already used in the normal Eisbaer, Eisbaer Aurora and the other Eisbaer LT CPU AIO water coolers. Its silent capabilities have already been confirmed in various tests of its sister models. The pump rotates at 2600 rpm and generates no significant vibrations. The DC-LT is a powerful pump that is also used for larger loops and offers a high flow rate.The Alphacool Eisbaer LT 92 is the perfect partner for SSF housing cases and has been specially designed for them. The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora CPU AIO water cooler is a special development for processors with particularly large CPU dies. These include the AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors and the Intel CPUs for the LGA 3647 and LGA 4189 socket.Large cooling surfaceThe cold plate bottom covers the entire surface of the respective processors. The area of the cooling fins exceeds all known processor cores with an area of around 55 x 42 mm. This ensures that all hotspots of a CPU are directly covered and thus optimally cooled. The cooling fins are 0.4 mm thick and also have an optimal distance of 0.4 mm between them. In total there are 58 cooling fins on the bottom of the cooler. The bottom of the cooler is only 3 mm thick, which allows the heat to reach the water and be dissipated as quickly as possible.Copper radiatorAs per usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer worldwide to use copper for all water bearing components such as the antechambers, the cooling fins and the cooling channels to which the fins are soldered. The connection threads are made of brass for strength reasons. In addition, the cooling fins are only lightly painted. On closer inspection the copper shimmers through a little. A thick lacquer coating would result in a reduction of the cooling capacity. The fin density is at optimal 15FPI. Therefore the radiator works perfectly even at low airflow. A too high fin density would require fans with higher speed to achieve the same cooling capacity. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast rotating fans. So the golden mean was chosen.Real water coolingThe Eisbaer Pro Aurora consists almost entirely of actual water cooling components. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The hose connections also come from the Enterprise series from Alphacool and use the standard G1/4". This makes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora fully compatible with all common water cooling products. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. The most important of these are the prefilled radiators and the Eiswolf GPU AIO water cooling system.Fan and lightingThe entire Eisbaer Aurora Pro cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. This gives a real eye-catcher in the Case. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. Inaddition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm. Of courseall Digital RGB LEDs can be controlled at will. Depending on the controller almost all effects are possible.How to connect everythingThe fans are normally controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. An included Y-adapter for the fans makes it easy to connect them to the mainboard. This allows all fans to be controlled and regulated via one connector. Each fan has a 3-pin JST connector including Y-adapter for the LED illumination. This allows the fans to be connected directly together and can also be controlled simultaneously via a controller. For the connection to a typical 3-pin 5V connector a corresponding adapter is included. Alternatively, the included Digital RGB controller can be used. The pump of the Eisbaer Aurora uses a 3-pin Molex connector. This can also be connected to the mainboard.The Eisbaer Pro Aurora is a true multi-talent. A too high fin density would require fans with higher speed to achieve the same cooling capacity. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast rotating fans. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. The electrically non-conductive thermal compund is particularly well suited for high contact pressures, but can still be processed perfectly due to its viscosity of 850000 TF. Alphacool Soft Pads with 1mm and 2mm thickness are used on the voltage converter and the graphics memory. The thermal conductivity of the pads is 7W/mK.
